California Highway 1

The Ultimate West Coast Adventure enjoying the most beautiful coastline in the USA.

California Highway 1, also known as the Pacific Coast Highway, runs almost the entire length of Californias coastline. Here is your chance to experience this incredible road without the stress of planning anything.

We start where the Pacific is loud and close at Venice Beach, then point the bikes north and chase the coastline the way it’s meant to be ridden—relaxed. Enjoy long ribbon of ocean views, cliffside turns, and small towns. From the first miles through Malibu, we settle into the rhythm: great pavement, salty air, and award winning views.

As we work north, we roll through the laid-back charm of Santa Barbara, then on toward the Central Coast where the scenery starts getting dramatic. We’ll pass through Pismo Beach / San Luis Obispo country, cruise by Morro Bay, and make time for the iconic stretch around San Simeon and Hearst Castle. Then comes the crown jewel: Big Sur—the cliffs, the curves, the kind of road that makes you wish it would never end.

We’ll roll into Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea, then thread our way through Santa Cruz and into San Francisco to cross the Golden Gate Bridge. From there the coast gets wilder and quieter. We ride up through Point Reyes, Bodega Bay, and the moody, rugged shoreline around Fort Bragg and Mendocino before we meetup with highway 101 and the road takes us inland and the landscape turns into towering redwood trees and deep green wilderness as we wind our way up The Avenue of The Giants. The finish is up in Eureka, where the redwoods and the sea feel like they teamed up to remind you how small you are.

Tourmoto handles the logistics, pacing, and support so you can focus on riding and actually experiencing the coast instead of stressing the details. Expect long but satisfying days, unforgettable roads, and the kind of end-of-day conversations you only get after you’ve seen incredible landscapes with new friends.
